Hunger is a year-round problem, and can hit families unexpectedly from job loss, medical issues, divorce, or a death in a family. Hunger is a real problem in our country, even in our community.

The People First Food Pantry is committed to providing families in the communities of Uxbridge, North Uxbridge and Linwood in need of food assistance.  If you need our assistance please fill out this application and email it to The People First Food Pantry. Proof of residency is required. Examples of proof of residency are a utility bill, car registration, or lease.

 

Our day-to-day operations are supported by all volunteers.  

 

People First Food Pantry families receive a solid week's worth of pre-packed boxes full of non-perishable foods such as pasta, sauce, cereal, vegetables, soups, as well as frozen foods, baked goods, paper goods and personal care items. 

 

We also provide our neighbors with a wealth of information about other services, such as WIC Program, Department of Transitional Assistance (Food Stamps/SNAP), and other agencies that help our families in their time of need.

 

Our community program involvement also includes annual food drives, a backpack and school supply drive, along with an Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas meal distribution, and a holiday gift program.

Hours of Operation:

Tuesday 5:00PM – 6:00PM to service families
Tuesday 6:30PM - 7:30PM to accept donations

Wednesday 11:00AM – 1:00PM and
Wednesday evenings 6:30PM – 8:00PM to service families
